Life-size handcrafted iron Kabuto helmet. Finished with 32 pieces of hand-spliced iron plates with gold-rimmed finish. Comes with a wooden Dragonfly headerboard and Kuwagata (beetles). Dragonfly, Tombo, has been believed to be a "symbol of victory" by warriors and it has been widely adopted as decoration of armors during the Sengoku warring period. And Yomogi mug-wort has been not only useful dying plant for lacing, it is also said to eliminate evils from ancient Japan.

Storage/Display Box As Option (+ JPY 34,000)

With extra 34000 yen your helmet will also come in a black lacquered wooden storage box that doubles as a beautiful Kabuto stand for you to proudly display your helmet, along with the wooden stand to have the helmet stay sitting straight up on the box.

Custom Sizing
Our helmets are designed to fit average Japanese adults up to 68cm head circumference. If you need a larger or much smaller size, we would be happy to offer you our custom sizing option to ensure the perfect fit. A slight fee (up to 20% of the listed price) may be charged, depending on your measurements. It will take 1 to 2 additional weeks to complete a custom sized suit of armor. If you need custom sizing, please contact us to request a Price Quote Request before purchasing. 

Custom Color Scheme:
We would be happy to provide you with the option of changing the color scheme of the lacquer finishes and/or braid lacings of your helmet. If we carry the color you want in our stock, the change is absolutely free.

Family Crest
A number of traditional Japanese family crests can be added to the storage/display box for free. You can choose your favorite samurai crest from our list.
