Antique Daisho Katana & Wakizashi
A pair of matching swords in Ornate Mounting w/ 2 NBTHK Hozon paper Certificates

Attributed to MIHARA (wakizashi)
A quality Katana and Wakizashi swords set from SAMURAI STORE Tokyo. Very stunning, complete matching set of antique Katana (long sword) and Wakizashi (mid sized sword) from the Edo period (1600-1800s). Both blades have NBTHK Hozon certificates. Each blade comes in the same ornate mountings and metal fittings. Blades and all metal fittings are in excellent condition. The katana blade bears the smith's name Tachibana Yasuhiro and the Kikumon (Chrysanthemum crest), the Imperial crest of the Royal family of Japan. Katana blade has a beautiful, great Midare tempered line pattern, and wakizashi has a straight pattern. Wakizashi has no inscription on the tang, but NBTHK officially attributes the blade to the Mihara Smith School.
