Antique Katana sword in Tachi Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: MASATAKA
A quality Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith Ozaki MASATAKA in later Edo period. Inscription of the sword smith name, location and the completion date (February, 1854) are engraved on the tang. Beautiful wavy tempered-line pattern on blade. Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a completed antique ornate mounting Han-Tachi koshirae.
