Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting NBTHK certificated
Swordsmith: TADAYOSHI

Very stunning antique Katana long blade made by swordsmith Tadayoshi 忠吉 (5th Generation) in mid Edo period, 1750's. Inscription of the sword smith name and his given title is engraved on the tang. Created with a beautiful Gunome zig-zag tempered-line pattern on blade. Bo-Hi grroves on blade. Registered as Tokubetsu Kicho paper "Important historical Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete ornate mountings including all the decorative accessories. Shirasaya wooden holder also comes with. A copy of the authority translated to English by the vendor comes with.
