Swordsmith: KUNIKANE

A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. This quality item is offered from our Yokohama Sword Store. Very beautiful antique real steel balde finished with stray straight tempered line patterns is handcrafted by smith Fujiwara KUNIKANE in early Edo period around 1630. Inscription of the sword smith and his location are engraved on the tang. Registered as Hozon paper "Well Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society) that is given to well-preserved sword with artistic value. The blade comes in a complete ornate mountings including the beautiful openwork designed Tsuba guard. Shirasaya wooden holder also comes with.
